Install Missing Dependencies (Most Common):
Modern Qt apps require libxcb-cursor0. Open terminal and run:

bash

sudo apt update sudo apt install libxcb-cursor0

Run with XCB (If using Wayland):
Force Telegram to use X11:

bash

QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb telegram-desktop

Disable Wayland (For Snap):
If using the Snap version, disable Wayland interaction:

bash

snap run telegram-desktop --disable-wayland

Force XWayland (Easiest Fix): Force Telegram to run through the X11 compatibility layer.Snap/Flatpak: snap disconnect telegram-desktop:wayland.Binary: Launch via terminal with: QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb ./TelegramDisable Wayland Rendering: If using a custom build, try disabling native Wayland, as it can cause rendering issues or crashes.

workaround you can run this:
snap disconnect telegram-desktop:wayland
This will disconnect Wayland and forces the telegram client to use XWayland. You can revert the this by running:
snap connect telegram-desktop:wayland :wayland
