ubuntu wg0 start

To start a WireGuard interface wg0 on Ubuntu, use the sudo wg-quick up wg0 command, which activates the configuration defined in /etc/wireguard/wg0.conf. For automatic start on boot, enable the service with sudo systemctl enable wg-quick@wg0 and start it immediately using sudo systemctl start wg-quick@wg0. 

Quick Start Commands

Start WireGuard (wg0):

Stop WireGuard (wg0):

sudo wg-quick down wg0 

Check Status:

sudo wg show # OR sudo systemctl status wg-quick@wg0 

Enabling Automatic Startup 

To ensure the tunnel starts automatically after a reboot, enable it via systemd:
