how to copy mega account to gofile with rclone

To copy a MEGA account to Gofile using rclone, you must configure both services as remotes and then use the

copy command. Note that Gofile requires a Premium account to allow rclone connections.

1. Configure MEGA Remote

Run rclone config.Choose n for a new remote and name it (e.g., mymega).Select mega as the storage type. Enter your MEGA email and password. If you have 2FA enabled, you must provide the 2FA code during this setup.

2. Configure Gofile Remote

Log in to the Gofile web interface and navigate to My Profile.Copy your Account API token.Run rclone config again and choose n for a new remote. Name it (e.g., mygofile).Select gofile as the storage type. Paste your API token when prompted.

3. Copy Files

Once both remotes are configured, use the following command to transfer your files:

bash
rclone copy mymega: mygofile: -P

mymega: is your source MEGA remote.mygofile: is your destination Gofile remote.-P (or --progress) shows the real-time transfer progress.

Important Notes
Memory Usage: Rclone handles the transfer in memory (streamed through your computer/server) without needing local disk space for the files.Performance: For very large MEGA accounts, initial login can be slow. Using the --low-level-retries 20 flag can help if the connection times out. Alternative (GUI): If you prefer a visual interface, RcloneView allows you to connect these remotes and drag-and-drop files between them.
